I have over 16 years experience in the Beauty Industry and have many loyal clients who have trusted me with their skin for many years. I pride myself on providing a friendly and professional service as well as being able to put all my clients at ease within minutes of meeting them.

I started my beauty business 're:nu Beauty' back in 2008 at just 19 from a small beauty room I rented in a hair salon before quickly expanding to my own salon 6 months later on the prestigious Yarm High Street in North Yorkshire. It was here I gained many of my regular clients, most whom I still see today and I enjoyed 6 successful years here before becoming a Mum in 2015. I then decided I wanted to be able to balance both business and family life and decided to set up my exclusive private home based salon in Yarm.

Although I am qualified in all Beauty Treatments, Facials and Skincare have always been my main passion. I introduced MATIS Paris treatments and products into my salon back in 2014 and skin quickly became my main focus. I won the MATIS Highly Commended Award in 2015, followed by Therapist of The Year & Gold Salon of the Year in 2016 at the MATIS Awards Ceremony. Following this, I decided to re brand and specialise in Facial Treatments and 'Sarah Johnson Facialist' was born.

I am constantly working on updating my skills and knowledge. I thrive on learning and keeping up to date with the industry.

​

In August 2021, I created my first Signature treatment ‘The Ultimate Skin Renu.’ This unique facial consists of 7 different advanced elements that work together to deliver exceptional anti ageing results in 2 hours. 

​

At the same time, I also launched my Bespoke Skin Programmes. All programmes are tailored to the individual and allow me to work with my client on a much deeper level over a longer period of time. My skin programmes are designed to help you achieve a real transformation and with the aim of maintaining long term results.

 

In September 2021, I was thrilled to discover I had been awarded 2 awards at the British Hair and Beauty Awards, Silver for Skin Specialist of The Year & Bronze for Entrepreneur of The Year.

In October 2021, I was chosen for the Lux Life Magazine Award 2021, Best for Anti Ageing Treatments - Co Durham.

This was something I am so pleased to be recognised for. My skin specialism and passion truly is anti ageing treatments. To be recognised and awarded specifically for my treatments, makes me feel incredibly proud.

In January 2022, I was honoured to be asked to be the Guest Speaker at the Matis Paris conference where I delivered a talk about my experiences in business to other industry professionals. At the end of the event, I was announced as the winner of the  Business Inspiration Award 2021.

​

In July 2022, I was once again awarded the Silver Skin Specialist of The Year at the British Hair & Beauty Awards.

​

I am very passionate about helping women feel confident in their own skin and I strongly believe you can achieve long term anti ageing results without going down a surgical or invasive route.
